About the Fest

This community is the home of the Severus Snape, the Half-Blood Prince, Fest. The Fest will open for signups on February 15, 2006, with the contributions due during the month of May, 2006.

The purpose of the Fest is to examine the character of Severus Snape in light of the events and revelations of the sixth book: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Contributions can include fanfiction, fanart, essays or any other creative endeavor that might shed light on Severus Snape. Slash, het and gen are all welcome.

Marauders-Era Harry Potter RPG - Seeking Severus Snape

Hello! I didn't see anything about advertising RPGs in the community profile, I hope this is all right?

I'm looking for someone to play Snape in a literate, intermediate marauders-era RPG. It's set in Snape's sixth year at Hogwarts in 1976, and it's a partial alternate universe game to keep everything fresh and interesting! Everything that has happened in canon -- such as Lily falling out with Snape -- has happened in the game canon with one important addition: Bellatrix Lestrange, following Voldemort's orders, has taken on the role of Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.

We're a new game, looking for some active and enthusiastic people to join. We'd love some original characters as well as canon characters, and we're absolutely dying for someone to take on Snape!

The game is set on a private, ad-free server (always a bonus!) at PurebloodsOnly.com. We have a guest-friendly forum where you can post any questions or queries about the game without having to register an account or put in any details, so swing by if you'd like to find out more!
